Scape Creator Program
The creator program
What is the Scape Creator Program?
It is how we work with the people making content about our games, starting with Gravity. You post about Scape, and we back you with paid reach when a clip lands, plus cosmetics made only for creators.
Who is it for?
- Creators, short and long form: TikTok, YouTube Shorts or long-form YouTube, on your own channel
- Streamers: Twitch for now, more channels coming soon
- Clippers: no channel needed. Cut the best Scape moments and send them to us; the ones that hit the mark go out where our players watch
Is there a follower requirement?
A small one, for creators and streamers, and only when you join: 1,000 on TikTok, 100 on YouTube, 25 on Twitch. Clippers need no followers. After that we never look at your follower count again; progress is about your content.
Does it cost anything to join the creator program?
No. The creator program is free to join.
Do I get paid?
No. The creator program does not pay creators. What you get instead:
- Paid reach behind your best posts
- Creator-only cosmetics
- The full asset library: logos, key art, screenshots, clips and overlays
- The creator Discord and a weekly brief on what's coming
Is there a minimum age?
Yes. You need to be 18 or over, or the age of majority where you live if that's higher, to join the creator program.
Can I join from any country?
Most countries, yes. We can't accept creators from countries where the law stops us, for example because of sanctions or export controls, or where we can't deliver creator program rewards to the country you live in.
Applying
How do I apply?
Hit Apply Now on our creator page, scapethegame.com/creators. Tell us who you are and where you post. It takes about five minutes to complete the application form.
How long will my application take?
A person reviews every application, and you'll hear back from us within 2 working days.
What happens after I'm accepted?
We send you an email. Log in to the Creator Portal with Steam, read the Content Guide, accept the Creator Terms and the Content Guide within 14 days, and verify your social media channels. That gives you full access to the portal and the creator program. Finish your onboarding and a creator-only cosmetic is yours.
How do I verify my social media channels?
In the Creator Portal, go to Channels under Settings. Click Connect next to Twitch to link it in one click. Our team verifies your TikTok and YouTube channels for you. You can add another channel at any time.
What if I create content on more than one social media account?
When you apply, you tell us your main channel and link any others. Your tasks and your progress towards the next tier are based on your main channel. Connect all your channels in the Creator Portal.
My application was rejected. Can I apply again?
Yes. You can reapply 14 days after a first rejection, and 30 days after any later one.
The Creator Portal
Where do I track my progress in the creator program?
In the Creator Portal, your home in the creator program once you're accepted. That's where you:
- Complete your onboarding tasks
- Follow your Founder tasks and see which posts have counted
- See your tier and what you need to reach the next one
- See when we've boosted one of your posts and how it's doing
- Find your personal Steam link
How do I log in to the Creator Portal?
With your Steam account. You need one to join the creator program, and your cosmetics are sent to that same account.
The Founder window
What is the Founder window?
Everyone accepted into the creator program before the Founder window closes is a Founder. The window closes on Wednesday 11 November 2026 at 14:59 PT, 22:59 UTC and 23:59 CET, which is 06:59 SGT on Thursday 12 November. For the whole window you hold Legend access and perks, whatever tier you're building underneath. It is the first group of creators in, and the only group that can ever unlock the First Wave player title.
What's in the Founder pack?
- Founder emote: for finishing your onboarding tasks
- Founder skin, Founder companion and the First Wave player title: for finishing your Founder tasks
The cosmetics and the title are tied to your account, can't be traded and will never be issued again.
What is the Legend Monthly Reward package?
Every Founder still in the creator program when the window closes gets the first ever Legend Monthly Reward package, with the first Legend skin, Legend emote and Legend companion. It's sent to your Steam account after the window closes.
When do I get my cosmetics?
They're sent to your Steam account automatically, so there's no need to redeem any codes. You won't see them in the Scape Playtest. They show in the demo from Monday 19 October 2026 at 10:00 PT, 17:00 UTC and 19:00 CEST, which is 01:00 SGT on Tuesday 20 October, when Steam Next Fest opens, and are yours in the full game from Early Access on Wednesday 28 October 2026.
What happens when the Founder window closes?
You keep everything you've unlocked from the Founder pack for good, and we send you your Legend Monthly Reward package. Your Legend access ends and you settle into the tier your content reached during the window.
The Scape Playtest
I joined after the Scape Playtest. Can I still get the Founder pack?
Yes, as long as you finish your Founder tasks before the Founder window closes: 14:59 PT, 22:59 UTC and 23:59 CET on Wednesday 11 November 2026, which is 06:59 SGT on Thursday 12 November.
Can I post Playtest footage?
Not straight away. Hold everything until Monday 19 October 2026 at 10:00 PT, 17:00 UTC and 19:00 CEST, which is 01:00 SGT on Tuesday 20 October, when Steam Next Fest opens. We always tell you the date something can go live.
Tiers and perks
How do tiers work?
There are three tiers: Crew, Pro and Legend. Everyone starts at Crew, and you move up based on your content output and performance. You can track your progress in the Creator Portal.
Is it possible to get demoted?
Yes, if your content output and performance stay below your tier for a while. You keep the cosmetics you've unlocked.
What does "boosting" mean?
When one of your posts does well, we may put ad budget behind it so more people see it. It stays your post, on your handle, with your likes, comments and follows. We never re-upload your video. At launch, boosting runs on TikTok only; you approve it once with a code from the TikTok app. Every tier, Crew included, can be boosted.
What's the Steam link?
Every creator gets their own tagged Steam link from day one. It counts the clicks, wishlists and purchases your content drives, so you can see what you move. It doesn't pay out.
Do I get a creator code?
No, there are no creator codes right now. You can still use your tagged Steam link to see the clicks, wishlists and purchases your content drives.
What are creator quests?
Creator quests are coming soon. You'll complete them for rewards made only for creators, and you'll find them in the Creator Portal once they're live.
Content rules
Do I need to add a disclosure to my posts?
Yes. Anything you get from us through the creator program, like keys, cosmetics or early access, means your Scape posts need the platform's paid promotion label switched on. #ScapeTheGame on its own isn't a disclosure. The Content Guide in the Creator Portal shows how to do it on each platform.
Can I say what I really think about the game?
Yes, positive or negative, at all times. The creator program sets embargo dates and sends briefs; it never asks you to change your opinion.
Will you ask me for a Steam review?
Never, and we never trade anything for one. If we gave you your key and you choose to review a Scape game, tick the "received for free" option and say in the review that the key came from us.
What can't I post?
Hacks, cheats and exploits, leaks or embargoed footage, clickbait, false claims about the game, and anything hateful, sexual, illegal or that breaks the platform's own rules. The full list is in the Content Guide. If you're unsure, ask us in the creator Discord before you post.
Staying, pausing and leaving
What if I stop posting for a while?
Taking a break is fine. If you stay inactive for a long time, we check in with you first, and after that you may be removed from the creator program. You keep your cosmetics and any title you've unlocked, and coming back is easy: log in to the Creator Portal and get a post approved.
Can I leave the creator program?
Yes, any time. Message us on the Scape Discord and we'll take you out of the creator program. You keep your cosmetics and any title you've unlocked, and you can rejoin later.
Who do I contact with a question?
Ask us on the Scape Discord. Once you're in the creator program, use the creator channel, or your regional channel.
